Hello Everyone. If you've been waiting to see the write in results for the East Multnomah County Soil and Water Conservation Director zone 2, they were published today. So, without further ado:
Of the 24,000 write in votes cast, I got 57 votes.
That's actually pretty good.
For comparison, Jada Mae Langloss, the recently deceased activist that the Willamette Week endorsed got 153 votes.
I did a quick scan and didn't see any people in particular that had more than 10 votes. Most write ins had one or two votes.
Update: I found a woman named Kendra Kimbrasaukas that received 326 votes.
You should all be proud. Just imagine what we could do in the course of an entire campaign cycle!

I was difficult to come up with a tally, because it was all in pdf and the listed the number of votes individually by precinct. So...lots of blurry addition.
Still, I'm very happy with the results.
